This introduction to blogging mechanics is designed to show digital novices how easy blogging can be. Over a weekend our friendly experts will teach you how to build your blog with WordPress, define its look and feel and use social media such as Twitter and Facebook to spread your words with online communities. It's a fantastic way to master the basics, with plenty of opportunities to share ideas with other beginners in a vibrant, sociable environment. Perfect if you have something to say but don't know your RSS from your Ecto.

Mark Jenkins is a Mobile UX (User Experience) designer and blogger. He currently works for Mobext a mobile design and development agency, which is part of Havas Media. Throughout his career, Mark has worked at and with some fantastic companies including Time Out London & International, The Guardian, Hilton International, The Virgin Group, Fallon London and HTSPE.

As a blogger, he runs UK Street Art and Friedmylittlebrain. The two blogs have a 'post positive' mentality and previously been named as the No.1 "UK Art Blog", No. 1 "UK Urban Lifestyle Blog" and No. 1 "Dance/DJ Blog" respectively.
