DOMINIC FRISBY ON LIFE AFTER THE STATE

This event has already taken place.

Host: The Idler Academy
Location: The Idler Academy, 81 Westbourne Park Road, London W2 5QH
Speaker: Dominic Frisby

Can you imagine an English revolution? What would it look like? How would it happen?

We’ve invited author Dominic Frisby to spend an evening at the Idler Academy to discuss the ideas in his new book, Life After the State. This brilliant and energetic attack on state power hit the Amazon top 100 following Dominic’s appearance on the BBC’s Today programme.

In this provocative and impassioned anarcho-capitalist manifesto, Frisby argues that the government is the root of all evil. In particular he says that it should not be in control of the nation’s currency. Idler readers will recall Dominic’s brilliant defence of gold and silver as currency which we published in the Smash the System issue.

DOMINIC FRISBY writes a column about gold and money for Moneyweek, the UK’s best-selling weekly financial magazine. He has written and produced numerous short films and videos. He also co-wrote and narrated the feature documentary about the global financial crisis, The Four Horsemen.
