LSE Literary Festival

This event has already taken place.

Host: LSE
Location: LSE, Houghton Street, London WC2A 2AE
Speaker:

For LSE's 5th Festival we will be exploring the theme Branching Out, partly in celebration of the Festival's 5th anniversary, traditionally marked by wood, but also in homage to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Denis Diderot, who developed the figurative system of branches of human knowledge. Key 'branches' that we will explore include Narratives, Innovation, Changing World and Uniting the Branches of Knowledge.

Highlights include P D James on the Challenge of Aging, Ken Livingstone on A Life in Politics and Kate Mosse on Women Writing History.
