An evening of readings and reflections on the life and work of short story genius Katherine Mansfield. Deborah Levy and Kirsty Gunn are joined by Janice Galloway.
Deborah Levy is an acclaimed novelist and playwright. Swimming Home (&Other Stories/Faber) was shortlisted for the ManBooker Prize, Author of the Year Award, and the Wingate Prize in 2012. Her collection of short stories, Black Vodka (&Other Stories) was shortlisted for The Frank O’Connor Prize. Deborah’s autobiographical long-form essay on writing, Things I Don’t Want to Know is published by Notting Hill Editions.
Kirsty Gunn is the recipient of several awards and prizes including the Scottish Arts Council Bursary for Literature, the New York Times Notable Book award, and the Sundial Scottish Arts Council Book of the Year.
